Cardhu is the only malt whisky pioneered by a woman.  The whisky matures in oak casks for at least 12 years.

The Strathisla Distillery is the home of Chivas Regal, one of the most famous Scottish Malt Whiskies.
The Dallas Dhu is the last distillery to be
built in the 19th century.  Tour the distillery and enjoy a dram.  Glen Grant distillery and gardens were founded by two brothers in 1840.  Glen Grant is a light floral malt whisky which is clearly different.

The Glenfiddich distillery is owned and managed by the 5th generation Grants.  The Glenfiddich is the only "chateau-bottled" Highland Malt
