All around Huntly Castle Caravan Park there are the distilleries that produce Scotland's national drink - whisky.  Seven distilleries make up the "Whisky Trail" a unique tour that will see you wend your way through some of the most picturesque scenery and towns of Scotland.

The Strathisla Distillery is the home of Chivas Regal, one of the most
famous Scottish Malt Whiskies.
The Dallas Dhu is the last distillery to be built in the 19th century.  Tour the distillery and enjoy a dram.  Glen Grant distillery and gardens were founded by two brothers in 1840.  Glen Grant is a light floral malt whisky which is clearly different.

Cardhu is the only malt whisky pioneered by a woman.  The whisky matures in oak casks for at least 12 years.
George Smith established the Glenlivet Distillery in 1824.  Tourist attractions here include an exhibition, interactive presentation cafe and gift shop.

The Glenfarclas distillery was founded in 1836.  Relax with a dram in the Ship's room after the guided tour of the copper vats.

The Glenfiddich distillery is owned and managed by the 5th generation Grants.  The Glenfiddich is the only "chateau-bottled" Highland Malt Whisky.  The Speyside Copperage completes the Trail.  We are sure that you will enjoy your tour around the distilleries, BUT just remember
don't drink and drive.
